Pippa Fitz-Amobi becomes obsessed with a local murder. The victim was Andie Bell, a popular student who was brutally murdered, and the prime suspect was Sal Singh, Andie's boyfriend, who supposedly committed suicide shortly after her disappearance. This book shows how Pippa, with the help of the prime suspects’ own brother, Ravi Singh, are determined to prove Sal’s innocence.

 

Pippa decides to take on the challenge of re-investigating the case as her senior project. She believes that Sal may not have been the real killer, and she wants to uncover the truth to clear his name. Pippa is a resourceful and determined investigator, and she starts by reviewing old case files, conducting interviews, and visiting the crime scenes.

As Pippa dived deeper and deeper into the mystery, she begins to find new and more shocking mysteries along with all her evidence and suspect lists. Pippa soon begins to have a feeling that these mysteries are somewhat connected, all leading to one conclusion, Andie Bell’s murder.

 

As Pippa gets closer to the truth, she puts herself in danger and uncovers shocking revelations about what happened to Andie Bell. The novel keeps readers on edge as Pippa navigates the complexities of her investigation, including secrets, lies, and unexpected twists.

‘’A Good Girl's Guide to Murder" is an engaging and thought-provoking read for young adults and mystery enthusiasts alike. I think Holly Jackson wrote this book in such a way to make it compelling for readers and its so hard to put down as we get a few pages closer and closer to finding the truth.
