Synopsis: 
Ella lives with her stepdad and
  her mum. They are all enjoying their peaceful life when Ella’s baby brother
  arrives…. And then Ella’s mum falls into a coma!  
Ella goes to the hospital every
  day, and doesn’t go to school. She has to spend a very long time with her
  stepdad, Jack, whom she hates. Finally, Ella decides to go to school just to
  catch up on her schoolwork. She is very worried that her best friend, Sally,
  will find a new best friend.  
Everyone thinks that it is very
  unlikely that mum will ever wake up, but Ella is determined that she would.  
Has Ella’s fear of losing her best
  friend proven to be storm in the teacup? Can Ella’s love bring mum back? If you

Why I like this book:  
I like this book as it is very interesting and the reader
  is very eager to find out what happens next. You are really drawn into the
  lives of all characters, especially Ella’s. This novel has an emotional punch
  to it which would really engage the readers that read this book.
